BOSTON, MA - DVS Home Video®, an initiative of the Media Access Group at WGBH, announces the availability of six new film titles on home video-fully described for viewers who are blind or visually impaired. These feature films, available to order November 24, include Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Seabiscuit, Matrix: Reloaded, Bruce Almighty and The Lion King-Special Platinum Edition.

Finding Nemo: This animated film tells the story of Nemo, a curious young clownfish who is taken from his home in Australia's Great Barrier Reef and winds up in the office fish tank of a dentist in Sydney.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl: Johnny Depp stars in this sweeping action-adventure story set in an era when villainous pirates scavenged the Caribbean seas.

Seabiscuit: Based on Laura Hillenbrand's bestseller, Seabiscuit tells the true story of a knobby-kneed, ungainly thoroughbred racehorse that captured the nation's heart during the Great Depression.

Matrix: Reloaded: The second installment of Matrix sees Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, racing to beat the machines before launching a final battle that pits the last remaining unplugged humans against them.

Bruce Almighty: Pessimist news reporter Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey) gets a chance to play God for one week after God (Morgan Freeman) tires of Bruce's complaints and wants to prove to him how tough it is to run the world.

The Lion King-Special Platinum Edition: This edition includes the original full-length animated feature with the new Circle of Life music video and other extras.

Descriptive Video Service® (DVS®) supplies descriptive narration of key visual elements-making television programs, feature films, home videos and other visual media accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. Inserted within the natural pauses in dialogue, audio descriptions of important visual details help to engage these viewers with the story. The Media Access Group at WGBH developed and continues to maintain a description production and distribution system for described videos.

The Media Access Group is a nonprofit service with offices in Boston, Los Angeles and New York. The Group includes DVS, which has made television, film and video more enjoyable to audiences who are blind or visually impaired since 1990, and The Caption Center-the world's first captioning agency-which has made audiovisual media accessible to audiences who are deaf or hard of hearing since 1972. The third branch of the Media Access Group, the CPB/WGBH National Center for Accessible Media, is a research, development and advocacy entity that works to make existing and emerging technologies accessible to all audiences. Members of the Group's collective staff represent the leading resources and experts in their fields.
